Hi, I am looking to possibly upgrade HP Notebook - 15-bs244wm memory from the current 4GB but I am getting conflicting information namely another thread "HP 15 bs244wm Ram/memory upgrade?" and various memory upgrade sites.
This laptop has Intel Pentium® Silver N5000 processor and according to the user manual http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c05493257 is already at the max memory of 4 GB. However according to some memory upgrade sites online I can upgrade to 8GB. I read that Intel Pentium® Silver N5000 processors can indeed support 8GB of memory, if so, which memory type would be the most optimal?
All help is welcomed, Thank you all.

Hi:
Yes, you are correct. You can remove the 4 GB memory module and install an 8 GB memory module.
This would be a compatible 8 GB memory chip for your notebook.
