Hello,
I own an HP Notebook 15-bw009nv , which currently has 6GiB of memory (1x2GiB and 1x4GiB). The specifications of the cards installed are the following:
Slot 1: SODIMM DDR4 Synchronous Unbuffered (Unregistered) 1866 MHz (0,5 ns), product: M471A5644EB0-CRC, vendor: Samsung, size: 2GiB, width: 64 bits
Slot 2: SODIMM DDR4 Synchronous Unbuffered (Unregistered) 1866 MHz (0,5 ns), product: 4ATF51264HZ-2G3B1, vendor: Micron Technology, size: 4GiB, width: 64 bits
I would like to upgrade the total RAM to 8GiB with a set of the following card model:
Crucial 4GB DDR4-2400MHz (CT4G4SFS824A), DDR4 PC4-19200 • CL=17 • SINGLE RANKED • X8 BASED • UNBUFFERED • NON-ECC • DDR4-2400 • 1.2V • 512MEG X
Would that be possible and compatible with my laptop and its motherboard (HP 8333)?
Thank you in advance.

Yes, but only replace the original modules with a pair of modules.
Otherwise, you may find that only one of the modules is recognized by the BIOS and operating system. The reason that could happen is that the modules may have differing voltage requirements and primary and secondary memory timings.
Here is a link to the Crucial Memory EU website where you can purchase the pair of the guaranteed compatible memory modules.
