Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have an HP 15-cc184cl. Noticed that it wasn't charging past 83%. Ran HP diagnostics on battery, it failed with a blown fuse message.

 

I have 2 questions: a) does anyone know what the part number is for this battery? I can't find it, nor can I seem to find a replacement battery based on the laptop model number from any reliable sources, despite quite a bit of searching.

 

b) If I can't find a replacement battery, will I be able to continue to use the laptop on AC power once the battery completely craps out on me?

 

If anyone has any other pearls of wisdom, please share.

Since the Battery Test failed please contact HP Support in your region for replacement Battery

 

1) Click on this link - www.hp.com/contacthp/ 
2) Select your product type below.
3) Enter the serial of your device. 
4) Select the country from the drop-down. 
5) Select the chat or get phone number options based on your preferences. 
6) Fill the web-form and proceed further.
