Hello,

Last year I upgraded the HDD to a Samsung 970 PRO 512 GB PCle NVMe SSD, the laptop works a lot better already. I have 4gb RAM but will be upgrading to 32gb in due course.

My SSD is now the (C:) boot drive. My original HDD is now a backup (E:) drive, with 914 gb memory.

I would like to upgrade the (E:) HDD to the maximum HDD that my laptop can take so that I have a large memory backup for music etc.

Can you recommend a replacement HDD please?

Thank you in advance.

Huw

The HDD you have referenced only seems to be compatble with a desktopmpc, is this correct?

thanks

Hi:

The link to the drive I posted indicates that it is a 2.5" drive which fits in your notebook.

A 3.5" drive is normally what goes into most desktop PC's.

Ah ok, that makes more sense now. Thank you again
