the book comes with  8gbddr4 ddr sdram (2400 sdram?)

 

i would like to increase the sdram to the max.

how many sdram slots are on the board and what is the max gb that can be put in each slot? thanks

thank you for the info and link. I am also upgrading to a solid state drive. what program would u recommend to transfer Windows 10 and other programs to the new ssd?

You're very welcome.

 

Unfortunately, I wouldn't be able to help you with that question as I always clean install the OS on new drives, or use the HP cloud recovery tool, and then reinstall any programs and personal files I need onto the new W10 install.

If you plan on keeping the mechanical hard drive, you would have to disconnect it when using the cloud recovery tool to reinstall W10, or it will get installed on the hard drive.
