Hello,

I just bought a new HP Omen 15-dh0009nq with nVidia RTX 2070 Super GigaByte

OS : Windows 10 Pro

I also have a eGPU Razer Core X Chroma

 

the laptop has a ThunderBolt 3 Port , I have the  right Thunderbolt cable ... however the laptop it is not detecting the eGPU

 

the light of the eGPU are turning on but nothing further

can you pls advice me what to do ?

@CatalinBalaban I suggest you check with the manufacturer of the eGPU to check if its compatible with the laptop configuration,

Also, check if it works fine on any other device, to ensure this isn't an issue with the eGPU, Also, as per the specifications of the laptop, only 1 out of 4 USB 3.1 Type-C port supports thunderbolt, so please check the cable with other ports unless you are sure the one in use is the one that supports thunderbolt.
