Good afternoon, or whatever the time is by the time this post reaches you
I bought a 15 inch laptop with an empty HDD bay but apparently it doesn't come with the SATA connector
The service manual shows that it is possible to install one, since the instructions to remove the disk are there, but weirdly the connector board and the cable are not listed:
Maintenance manual, look at page 37: http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c07070926.pdf
Illustrated parts catalog for HP 15, no HDD or any related part listed: https://support.hp.com/hk-en/document/c07057239
Why is this? Is there really not any compatible part availabe and HP just put a 3 cell battery and left a lot of precious space there? Or am I looking in the wrong place for the part numbers? This is a 15 dw3005wm, bought very recently
Does anybody know about a part that works with this machine?
EDIT: If there is not an exact part for the disk, but the connector is built into the board, I gues I could buy the cable and connector and 3D print the support pieces for the drive. I would just need the ids of the electrically compatible parts, though I would very much prefer an HP supported solution
Thanks in advance

The http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c07070926.pdf manual is NOT for HP 15-dw3xxx machines. It is for HP 470 G8 Notebook PC.
You need
The hard drive cable is available using spare part number L52025-001

Thanks @Banhien ! Where can I find the correct manual? I can't find the model a manual refers to, where whould I look in the document?
And another question, these manuals don't seem to specify the maximum RAM a model supports, only the possible configurations the machine is shipped with. Can you help me find that data?
