Hello There.
I wanted to ask if my HP 15-dy2021nr-Plus with a integrated Iris Xe graphics card is able to be upgraded to something a bit better. Although it is marketed as a business laptop I mainly do a bit of gaming on this PC, I am currently having trouble with a game called Last Oasis. It will not run on my pc due to lack of graphics card memory.
Any information will be helpful and much appreciated! Thanks in advance! 🙂
I currently have an 11th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-1135G7 @ 2.40GHz 2.42 GHz

Hi:
The GPU is an integral part of the motherboard and cannot be upgraded unless you replace the motherboard with one listed in the service manual that may come with a better graphics adapter. You would also need to replace the heatsink because the discrete GPU's require different heatsinks.

To complicate matters further, the service manual linked to the model series support page is way out of date.
The costs associated with such an upgrade would exceed the cost of buying a different model notebook with better graphics, making such an upgrade a poor return on investment.
