Hello, I have good and bad news.
I ended up buying a WD M.2 SSD, name: wd blue 3d nand sata ssd m.2 2280, model: WDS100T2B0B000YS70, 1TB and installed it on my HP 15-ef0875ms, it is working perfectly it was easy to install, just took the old 250GB with just 1 storage chip, did speed tests on it showed results as expected as shown in the image below.

I believe that the speed difference, being higher for the original M.2 SSD, is due to the fact that it is 1/4 of the WD BLUE space and the fact that WD Blue is running the operating system and has files written on it, from HP was tested clean and as a secondary disk.
The bad news is that I couldn't find a connector or anywhere on the motherboard for connecting a video card or HD SATA. Motherboard model DA0P5EMB6E0, but I couldn't find anything about it on the internet.
One point I would like to know is the reason for using a 4GB 2666MHz Samsung RAM stick (CHIP K4A8G085WB-BCTD) and another 8GB 2666MHz SK hynix brand (CHIP H5AN8G8NJJR-VKC), where the two could be Samsung.

@AndreRosenberg Welcome to HP Community!

I understand that you would like to upgrade the SSD 250Gb to 1TB and you would like to add the graphics card.

Do not worry. I will try to help you.

Your laptop supports the following configuration:

Primary storage Single hard drive configuration , 6.35 cm (2.5-in), SATA hard drives:

2 TB, 5400 rpm, 9.5 mm

2 TB, 5400 rpm, 7.2 mm

1 TB, 5400 rpm, 9.5 mm

1 TB, 5400 rpm, 7.2 mm

500 GB, 5400 rpm, 7.0 mm

M.2, SATA-3, solid-state drives:

256 GB, TLC

128 GB, TLC

PCIe, NVMe, M.2 solid-state drives (Intel Core processors):

512 GB

256 GB

Dual storage configuraion (Intel Core processors):

256 GB, PCIe, solid-state drive + 1 TB, 5400 rpm hard drive

256 GB, SATA-3, TLC, solid-state drive + 1 TB, 5400 rpm hard drive

128 GB, SATA-3, TLC, solid-state drive + 1 TB, 5400 rpm hard drive

Unfortunately, it will not support 1TB SSD.

External graphics: (Intel Core processors)

GeForce MX130 with up to 4 GB of dedicated video memory

GeForce MX130 with up to 2 GB of dedicated video memory

GeForce MX110 with up to 2 GB of dedicated video memory

I have the same exact laptop... and can not comprehend why it woulld not support a ssd of any size .. there are m.2 ssd's that are only about 1/3 the size of a standard m.2.. up too 2 TB .. .. I am aware that there is nowhere to connect a 2nd m.2 .. or a sata .... and that there are only 2 ram slots .. and  do understand a maximum ram limit . ..  I can also comprehend that the larger a drive or Partition .. the longer it will take to run scans .. and search for files ..especially if its reaching the 80%+ full mark ... .. i have a extra sata 2.5" hhd  320gig that I use for storage  externally  with a simple usb3 to 2.5" SATA3 connector that runs fine with the internal ssd ..

I would think that even if there is a bios /uefi  limit on internal ssd space the drive could be partitioned into sizes below the limit .. and used in dual boot configuration . or used so extra partitions are simply mass storage places .. which could keep importand files safe if the primary OS partition became corrupted or infected with malware,viruses...ect ..

.

To the OP ... this laptop already has Vega10 graphics onboard . which is pretty good for a laptop in this price range . if you are having gaming or other video intensive bottlenecks . i would first make sure all your drivers are up to date from HP ..and From AMD.  use the lap top on a hard surface ,to prevent blocking the fan intake on the under side of the laptop .. or place it ontop of a laptop cooling pad . a cool GPU is a happy GPU.. and as it heats up beyond normal operating temps it will throttle down its speed .. to prevent from overheating ..  If you are doing lots of video compiling ..ect maybey concider adding a external deskttop AMD graphics card .. (they tend to be bulky but do well in the dorm or at your home desk ..ect .. a alternitave route is to rent serverspace ,set up for your needs where you can remotly edit video ...ect  utulising the latest and greatest server  hardware  and have decitated high end desktop gamming or better graphics at your desposal along with the extra server storage space .

.

Maybey i will learn something new .. like the purpose for the unused Ribbon connector on the mother board ...  surley it was inteonally part of the desighn ..
