Hi,
I own an HP 15-f272wm that's recently just been revitalized by installing a new OS and a new memory module, but; the BIOS seems to be extremely outdated and in need of an upgrade. I can't seem to find any BIOS update files online and I can't use the HP Support Assistant app because my device now runs a Linux distrobution.

Can anyone link me towards a file for BIOS update?

Hi:

 

The latest BIOS update I could find for your notebook is F.40.

 

Below are the info and exe file links to the F.40 BIOS version:

If you are running Linux on the PC, use another Windows PC to create a USB BIOS recovery drive.
