1.A-Tech(new 8gb stick) 2.Factory stick (0ld 4gb)
I upgraded my ram with the A-Tech so-dimm 8gb stick. It was a perfect fit, but my system didnt boot when I installed it was just a black screen. The Samsung stick is the original 1x4gb. What 1x8gb stick would work on this laptop //Please HELP!!! this is the second stick I bought with no luck..

Your machine is an HP Notebook - 15-f233wm (ENERGY STAR), its specs
It has ONE slot with 4 GB DDR3L SDRAM (1 x 4 GB) and supports 8GB max. You can use the following RAM yo upgrade
https://eu.crucial.com/memory/ddr3/ct102464bf160b/ct10682132
From the image, the A-tech is DDR3 RAM which uses higher voltage.
Regards.
