Hi:

Below is the link to the crucial memory/SSD report for your notebook.

https://www.crucial.in/compatible-upgrade-for/hp---compaq/hp-15-r007tx

You can install a max of 2 x 8 GB of memory and since there is no separate slot for a SSD, you would have to replace the existing 2.5" mechanical hard drive with a 2.5" SSD.

Your notebook should have two memory slots since it has an Intel core processor.

Below is the link to the service manual...see chapter 1.

http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c04409502

1 or 2 customer-accessible/upgradable memory module slots (depending on model)

2 slots: DDR3L-1600MHz Dual Channel Support (Core processors)

1 slot: DDR3-1333MHz Dual Channel Support (DDR3L-1600 downgraded to DDR3-1333)(Bay Trail
processors)

1 slot: DDR3-1333MHz Dual Channel Support (DDR3L-1600 downgraded to DDR3-1066)(Bay Trail
processors)

Supports dual-channel memory
