Hello!
My computer suddenly went down and wouldn't boot.
I tried reimaging Windows using USB stick image, but it wouldn't load from USB stick as well.
I thought it could be a hard drive issue. Replaced hard drive - same result, I can't get past BIOS. As soon as it starts trying to load the OS, everything freezes.
Brought it to a local repair shop for diagnostics and they said a memory chip on the mother board failed, and it could be replaced but there is a risk of damaging the mother board.
Would it be possible to get the entire motherboard replaced by HP, and how much would that be?
Thanks,
Denis.

The specs of your machine is
https://support.hp.com/au-en/document/c05803124
You need part # 934999-601 for its system board which is N/A from HP

Actually buying new and right system board (including labor cost) is very close to buying new machine. You can search on eBay or buying new machine.
Regards.
