HP 15s-eq2000 Series 2.5 inch HDD drive Upgrade (15s-eq2422ng)

Hello,

Can any of the HP 15s-eq2000 series notebooks be upgraded with a 2.5 inch Hard Drive?

The specific variant I'm interested in is 15s-eq2422ng with Ryzen 3 5300U and 256GB SSD.

Some other variants of this family come with an HDD but I'm not sure if there aren't missing cables or brackets since no data sheet is available anywehre and there are no dissasembly videos too.

Hi,

It is not possible to add a 2.5" Drive

You can upgrade the M2 PCIe NVMe SSD to a higher capacity one (no limit to capacity)

On page 31 of service manual you can see the steps to replace the drive

You can create a bootable USB drive, before replacing the M2 SSD, with Windows 10 on it and then use to reinstall the OS
