Hi all, I changed the top case on my HP laptop including the keyboard and touchpad. I have installed a PTP touchpad. But unfortunately it does not work. However, the device is displayed as funktionsfähigk. Keyboard works normally, only the touchpad does not.
Does a PTP work at all in this model or only a normal touchpad? Or is it necessary to update drivers?
Many greetings

Installing a precision touchpad is modding the notebook.
Google translate tells me that funktionsfähig means functioning. Is that not correct?
You can try to find drivers for it or replace it with the original touchpad.
Take a read of this article, it may help.

I have tried these drivers. Always comes the same error message and the touchpad does not work. I just tested the touchpad with Windows 10 (boot via a USB stick) and the touchpad works. So it must be Windows 11.

Yes.
Your PTP touchpoad is apparently not yet compatible with Windows 11.
That is the unfortunate downside with hardware mods.
