HP Laptop 17-cn1xxx

I recently purchased a refurbished HP 17 cn1053cl laptop. It came with a 5400 RPM  HDD. Can I replace it with a Samsung 870 EVO SATA SSD?

P.S. - I plan on using an M.2 NVMe as my boot drive and want to use the other dive simply for storage.

Thanks in advance. I truly appreciate any and all help anyone can offer me.

Hi:

Yes, it would be fine to replace the 2.5" mechanical hard drive with a 2.5" SSD.
