Laptop: HP 2000-2d03SM

I need help to see which cpu's my laptop supports, because i wanna upgrade it from i7-3520M, sockets are FCBGA1023 and FCPGA988, but i don't know if my Insyde F.3C supports it.

Any info would be good

I assume your question is whether you can upgrade your current intel processor to an i7-3520M.

 

When I look at your manual: http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c03763129.pdf, these are the Intel processors most likely installed in your laptop:

The upgradeability to an i7-3520M is as follows: CPU-Upgrade: Intel Core i5-3230M (PGA) CPU.

 

As you can see, the "upgrade chance" to an i7-3520M is thought to be 40%.

 

However, from my perspective, I don't see why you couldn't upgrade to this processor, if only its TDP (35-watt) is the same as your current CPU.
