See p. 105 of the Manual here:

Manual

Up to 300 MB/s is SATA-II. Nobody has made SATA-I storage controllers on a laptop in at least 12 years or so.

A current model SATA-3 SSD connected to a SATA-2 interface is still plenty fast and well worth doing. In fact, it is hard to tell the difference between SATA-2 and SATA-3 in actual operation since maximum burst speed is largely theoretical.

No do not try to put an SSD in a DVD drive caddy. For various reasons. You need to open the hard drive access door and replace the hard drive with an SSD placed inside the laptop and if you must use a DVD caddy put the original hard drive in it. The DVD drive is 12.7 mm.

Manual

see p. 53-55. You need a 2.5 inch SATA-3 SSD such as this:

Hello, thank you for your answering.
"No do not try to put an SSD in a DVD drive caddy."
I know it - thank you.

What type of sata interface does have my laptop? Sata1, sata2, or sata 3?

1.jpg2.jpg

What type of sata connection here? Sata 1, sata2 or sata3?

I ask it, because if my laptop has sata1 interface it means that I will not have a sense of change my hdd to ssd.
Because of the maximal speed of working sata1 interface = 150 mb/sec. This speed use usual hdd.

SATA is SATA and your laptop is capable of having an SSD. It is SATA-3 I think but at least SATA-2.

I know that it is capable of having an SSD.
But the speed of sata1 = 150 mb/sec, the speed of sata2 = 300 mb/sec, the speed of sata3 = 600 mb/sec.
It is a big difference. Simple HDD have speed 150 mb/sec.
I will not have the sense to change HDD to SSD if SSD will work with sata1 interface because it will use only 30% his speed. (max only 150 mb/sec).
I want to know exactly, what type of sata interface does my laptop has.
Why you can't give this information?
Also, I can't find this information on the internet too.
For example - I have a PC - and it was simple for me to find the same information. I found my motherboard model - https://www.asus.com/Motherboards/Z97K/specifications/ and I found all information on the products webpage.

You know at this point your tone has become hostile and you obviously do not understand that I am a volunteer and I do not work for HP and I am not your servant. So let's get that straight. Good luck.

I apologize if I offended you, I did not want to do this.
I thought that you are a company employee HP, that's why I asked this question:
"Why you can't give this information? "
I thought so because you have a picture with a signature "HP Expert".
Now I understand that you are just a volunteer forum, once again sorry.
And thank you for your help.
