My Aunt's HP 2000 notebook PC display screen is broke and I'm going to replace it with a used one from fleebay.  I know the  Compaq CQ58 Notebook PC is the same.  I've replaced them before on other HP notebooks, so I'm confident in my abilities to do so.

I have a question about compatibility.  Is the HP Pavilio DV2000 Laptop compatible, as far as the screen goes?

Hi @Michael_Piziak,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

I understand that you are looking for information if the DV2000 laptop is compatible. I'd like to help!

Here are a few details and we cannot guarantee if that works as it is a pretty old version

specification: HP PAVILION DV2000 SERIES

Part Type: LCD Screen

Size: 14.1" WideScreen

Resolution: WXGA (1280x800)

Surface Type: Matte /Glossy

Video Connector: 30-pin CCFL screen

Condition: New Grade A+

Note: Make sure the new screen has the same size, resolution, and connector type as your old one!

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
