I have the chance to get an HP 240 G7 i3 8130u with only 4GB of ram. I know it has 2 slots and the manual reads "Supports up to 8 GB of system RAM in the following conƭgurations" however I've seen similar models sold with more ram and by reading these forums it seems that many models have an actual max capacity than stated in the User Guide.
From all I read, I think I can add an 8 gb stick (but have to swap the original 4 gb stick with the 8 gb stick and place the 4 gb stick in the spare slot) and I will be used by Windows.
Anyone can confirm or deny this please?
