Hi
I have an HP 250 G3 celeron.
I tried to upgrade the RAM with the recommended RAM chip from Crucial
8GB DDR3L-1600 SODIMM, DDR3 PC3-12800 • CL=11 • UNBUFFERED • NON-ECC • DDR3-1600 • 1.35V • 1024MEG X 64
The PC does not want to boot Are there other actions that I was supposd to perform other than just replacing the memory?
I did notice that the slot says 1.5 V and the Crucial chip is 1.35V. I have also read on other forums that this should not be a problem.
Please assist?

Replac ing the memory should be all you need to do. This is the HP Part No. for an 8 gig module:
Memory module (PC3L, 12800, 1600-MHz):
8-GB 693374-001
So 1.35 volt memory is specified.
All of the specs of the Crucial memory you installed seem correct but you do not give us the Part number. If Crucial sold you the memory as compatible with that model they will replace it or refund your money.
Does the module look like the one linked above i.e. are there 8 black memory blocks on the side of the chip or 4? Sometimes that can make a difference.
