HP 250 G3
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello,

I've got an HP 250 G3 laptop and need to buy a new replacement battery.

The current show these specifications: 11.1V, 2612 mAh, "replace with HP spare 746641-001".

However, the only one that I found to buy was 14.8V, 2200mAh, but was supposed to be compatible with the model I've got (746641-001). The link to the website: http://hplaptopbattery.co.uk/hp-250-g3-battery-88460.htm

My question is if buying a battery with different specifications seemingly compatible will somehow damage my laptop?

Thanks for your help!

Thanks a lot!

Are those ebay sellers you linked me reliable/trustworthy? Or should I stick to the one I linked beforehand? (btw. I am from the UK)

@Tomasczxx

They will both work.

One is 3 cell and one is 4 cell.

I would use the 4 cell. "Will last longer on full charge"
