Hello,
I bought this RAM in amazon and placed it in the second slot. When I turn on the computer, It only recognize the old RAM. If I put only the new RAM the screen stays black.

The old RAM is 1.35 volt and the new RAM is 1.5 volt. Your system needs 1.35 volt. Look for memory with DDR3L-1600.
The "L" means low voltage 1.35 volt.
