250 G6

Hi, I am looking for a battery replacement for HP 250 G6 (TPN-C129). The original battery has 10.95V 31.2Wh and there's also a note "Replace with HP spare 919700-850".

When I search for that number I am finding batteries that are for 250 G6 but all of them have 14.4V or 14.8V.

So my question is whether it's safe to use such battery and if not, what battery number do I have to search for to find 10.95V batteries.

From its manual  (page 32)

              http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c05485525.pdf

You can use

  • 4-cell, 41-Whr, 2.8-Ah Li-ion battery part # 919701-850
  • 3-cell, 31-Whr, 2.8-Ah Li-ion battery part # 919700-850

The first one is better and more expensive. You can order from

           https://partsurfer.hp.com/Search.aspx?searchText=919701-850

Or use part # and search online in your country.

Regards.

Is the 4-cell one a 14.8V battery and the 3-cell one a 10.95V as the original one?
