Hello
Anyone knows: if for mentioned model 2XY89ES - HP 250 G6 (w/ AMD520 radeon card): memory can be up upgraded above 8gb as the selleris claiming ?
Is there really 8gb ram limit ? How many slots available are there inside? Is the "primary" slot soldered ? (not/4g/8gb)?
If yes: is ram hard to upgrade: in terms of accessibility.
If there, really is a limit, then there is no point in buying it: i need more ram.
Thank you!
Z.

Yes here is the Service Manual:
Has two slots on the i5 model you mention. No soldering. Its delieved with one 8 gig module and an open slot for upgrade. Officially upgradeable to 2 x 8 gig DDR4-2400 SO-DIMM = 16 gig but well known to be capable of using 2 x 16 = 32 gigs.
Pages 39-46 show how to do the upgrade. If done without damage the warranty will not be affected. On a 1-10 with 1 being easiest it is maybe a 4 to upgrade memory.
Post back with any more questions but please accept as solution if its the answer you needed.

Thank you!
That's exactly the answer I was looking for.
I'm really wondering why on earth would one (hp ?) make laptops look "worse" then they really are: with 16/32gb. It's a good thing, not bad. And it's confusing - I am used to hp and wasn't even looking for other brands, but with this "8gb limit"... oh well...
