Hi folks,
i recently got an 250 G6 laptop without hard drive. I tried to boot with three different hard drives i installed (Liteon, Intenso and wd green). None worked. I got an error message saying "hard disk boot device not found". After some research, i decided to have a look at the bios and enabled legacy boot. Then the liteon (with the install from a lenovo computer) booted on that windows installation, but neither the intenso nor the WD Green. Even though the two lasts were empty, they were not recognised after a hardware test (F2), which returned a "no hard drive found".
I tried to reset the bios, updated it to the latest version, tried to boot in either Legacy or UEFI mode, without further success.
Would guys know how to solve that issue ?
Is there a know incompatibility between HP laptops and Intenso or WD Green ssd's?
thanks in advance
ps the intenso and the WD are new and unformated drives.
