Hi guys,

please help me. I do have new HP 250 G7 /6BP04EA/ and I need to install Windows 7 (64-bit). Unfortunately setup cant recognize my SK Hynix NVME SSD. I didnt find any drivers from Hynix provider. Do you have idea how to move on please?

 

Specifications:

Intel® Core i5-8265U
8 GB DDR4
256 M.2 SSD
Intel® UHD 620

Hi:

 

You'll have other issues beside that one.

 

No W7 graphics, USB3.1 or wireless drivers. None were developed by Intel.

 

I only have NVME drivers for the samsung and intel.

I am using USB2 port for instalation from USB, but same issue with instalation from DVD

I cant even select drive-partition to install

You're very welcome.

 

You can only run W10 on that platform and have everything work.

 

If you need to run W7, you can't go beyond the 250 G5.

 

On the 250 G6, the wifi card won't work on W7 unless you remove it and mask a couple of contacts.

can I somehow pass through win7 instalation even without wifi, vga or usb 3 driver at the end?

I would say that is next to impossible.

 

You can see this discussion with the same issue...no W7 storage controller drivers for the Hynix nvme drives...
