Hello all. I have the laptop hp 250 g6 (1WY58EA) which has an ssd 256gb, i5 7th gen, 8gb ram and DVD driver. I have 2 questions.
1) Can I add a new HDD (no need to boot from it), without removing the dvd drive? If i have to remove the dvd drive what adapter will I need?
2) Is it possible to upgrade to 16GB ram?
Thanks in advance and sorry if the questions have been posted again.

Hi.
1-Reviewing the information provided by Hp, your computer does not support a dual HDD + SSD configuration.
If you still want to add a hard drive you should put it where the DVD is:
1-TB, 5400 rpm, 9.5 mm or 7.2 mm
500-GB, 5400/7200 rpm, 7.0-mm
1-TB, 5400-rpm 778192-005
500-GB, 7200-rpm 703267-005
500-GB, 5400-rpm 778186-005
Checking the measurements of the optical drive you can put a hard drive
Optical drive Fixed, serial ATA, 9.0-mm tray load
You need an adapter and cables.
2-To know the ram memory your computer supports, you must know what processor it has so that it can verify what it supports:https://support.hp.com/us-en/product/hp-250-g6-notebook-pc/15747807/document/c05478277
