HP 255 G7 notebook missing SSD slot

Hello,

I have a HP 255 G7 notebook. It's very slow so I decided to change the hard disk by adding a SSD Crucial P3 NVMe (red circle on the photo below). I want to add it where the yellow rectangle is. I followed the video below:

There should be a slot to connect it on the bottom right corner of the laptop (red rectangle). But there is nothing. 

Can someone tell me if it's normal ? And how could I fix it ?

I would be very thankfull for any answers.

Hi:

There is no M.2 slot if your notebook has an AMD 'A' series processor and came with a 2.5" mechanical hard drive.

I see the 2.5" mechanical hard drive in your screenshot.

Only the HP 255 G7 notebooks that came with a M.2 SATA SSD from the factory have the M.2 slot and it would support a M.2 SATA SSD, not NVMe.

The 255 G7's with the AMD Ryzen processors have M.2 slots that support NVMe SSD's.

Your only option for a SSD would be to replace the 2.5" mechanical hard drive with a 2.5" SATA SSD.
