Morning all
I have just gotten the HP 255 G7 and was lucky enough to be able to test 16g ram in the 1 slot this machine has, the machine picked it up and ran with it, but it is still not very fast. I was recommended that I should get a new Hard drive (250g solid state) but am wondering if it is that I have asked the machine to run with something it was not designed to run with, by putting 16g ram into it instead of 8g? I was told its impossible to add another ram slot into the machine, my brain says there is no such thing as impossible but how complicated is that?
I realize that putting a new hard drive in can only speed things up a bit but when I check on my task manager I see that the CPU is taking mass amounts of strain, would it not make more sense to upgrade that first?
Thank you
