Hello,

I want to upgrade my m.2 ssd since it only came with 256gb and wanted to get something faster but i know that if i get those 7000mbps cards it would be overkill and waste of money since my laptop wont read those speeds. My laptop is HP 255 G8 - LA-L021P with Ryzen 5 5500u, could you please suggest me the best m.2 i could get for my laptop? Thank you in advance

Hi:

 

I recommend either the Samsung 980 (not 980 Pro) or the Western Digital Blue SN570 in a storage capacity that meets your needs.
