Hello everyone!
I have a specific question, I hope I have chosen the right category, I can only find the answer here. In my country (Serbia) there is an HP 255 G8 laptop with a Ryzen 7 5700U processor. It is an official sale. I can buy it cheaply and I probably will, however, I don't understand why I can't find such a configuration anywhere else on the internet? The HP website says that the HP 255 G8 comes with a ryzen 5 processor at best. Does this mean that the vendors subsequently tweaked the configuration? And do you recommend such a purchase? Are sellers allowed to do such a thing?
I also contacted the store and they assure me that they get such a configuration from HP.
Please note, this is an official sale, a large company.

Hi:
Page 4 of the HP Quickspecs for the model series indicates that the 255 G8 can come configured with an AMD Ryzen™ 7 5700U APU, so it is probably the 'real deal.'
Processors and graphics are integral parts of the motherboard so in order for a reseller to modify a processor configuration, they would have to replace the motherboard, and no one is going to do that.
