Hello,
I have HP 450 G8 32M55EA with 8 GB stock memory. I want to update it to 32 GB. I bought 2 sticks of memory 2x16 GB DDR 4 3200 Silicon Power. When I updated and started the notebook, the Windost stopped working after login. I tried to do a memory test and received this error: QAPB6M-B4WBLJ-MFPX01-405G03. I changed the memory to Crucial but the notebook continues to get errors on the memory test - QAPB6M-B4WBLN-MFPX01-407G03.
After some tests, I found out the notebook works with a 16 GB Crucial memory stick in slot 1 and an 8 GB stock memory stick in slot 2. If I put one of the 16 GB memories on slot 2, it continues receiving errors on the memory test.
How can I solve the problem and update to 32 GB of ram?
I have attached some pics with the errors.

We need to know the exact product numbers of the memory you tried. Your laptop should be able to run 32 gigs of DDR4-3200 but HP notebooks require bare stock memory at standard timings. If the memory you are using is a gaming or performance type it may not work right. Crucial is usually OK. Silicon Power may or may not be. If the memory you are using is the correct type and you still get errors you may have a motherboard issue. I lean towards the compatibility explanation as your laptop works fine when you have an original module installed. That will force the second module to run at stock timings.

Hi, as I saw the original memory is CL21 and the Crucial memory is CL22. Checked again today, and the it gave same error when I install both CL22 memories. Is there any way to make them work? Is it safe to try to work with the notebook after a memory test failure?
