HP Recommended

So I acquired an HP4540's Probook it works fine. It works plugged in but the battery says 1% Plugged in but it doesn't charge at all.

 

I tried looking in settings in BIOS but found nothing. I did uninstall the Battery drivers in Device manager as I read on a different post but that didn't work either.


The battery is an OEM new battery from eBay that is sold as compatible for the 4540s the power cord is the OG power cord that came with the laptop. Could it be the battery or the power cord possibly?
