Operating System: Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

Hello, water spilled on my laptop and damaged the motherboard (power failure), my motherboard is 683494-001, processor i5-3230M, I bought a motherboard by same number but in the Bios it read that my laptop is HP Probook 4441s !!! and the headphone and Mic not working, so I returned it.

what would be the alternative motherboard for mine since I can't find same spare number.

That part is for 54 different models/products including many 44xx (14") machines and yours 4540s (15.6") of course.

The problem is how to get EXACTLY the right one for your machine, that may take ages to find out even the number is only 54.

Now, my suggestion to buy a new one without problem with audio port.

there is many motheroards of this number online, and the one I bought was also match the same number,  I Wonder how to get the right one, and HP in my country here not having that motherboard

which motherboard will be working with for 4540s  ?
