A client purchased this notebook as a desktop replacement. They wish to set it up with dual external monitors. They purchased a USB-C docking station and were unable to make it work. The specs say that the USB port does not support graphics. What are their options?

It ONLY has 1 hopeless USB 3.2 Gen 1.0 Type-C , 5 Gbps signaling rate ports (data transfer only; charging or external monitors not supported) port which does NOT support Alt mode nor Power Delivery. You can NOT use it to
- Charge your machine,
- Connect to an external monitor with/without hub/dock/adapter (some hubs may have builtin chip to support this)
If you wish to connect 2 external monitors (only-total 3), you can use

In all honesty, HP have lost their minds with the 470.
Buy a refurb Probook 470 G5.
It was the last decent 17" business laptop before someone at HP hit the pipe.
They've even carried on the stupidity with the G10.
