After installing a new battery to replace the damaged one and adding RAM and SSD, the HP 4740s laptop turns off after 30 minutes of operation. [edit] bios chip - intel ME - ME REGION should be cleaned, [edit] does not allow this to be done. How to clean [edit] ME REGION without disassembling the laptop

I do suggest running the HP PC Hardware Diagnostics UEFI utility to see what the health of the "new" battery is. 

 

It is possible that you  received a "new" old stock battery.

 

Does the power/charge LED indicate that it does charge the battery?
