Hello everyone,

Wondering if someone else have the same experience. We are deploying the new HP EliteBook 640 / 660 G11 with the new Intel Core Ultra 7 165H. We found out that when the computer are running on battery, we barely have 2h00 to 2h30 of battery life using the 56kWh battery. While with the same os and software, with a Latitude 7420 with a Intel i7-1185G7, I have 8hours+ battery life. Even the old Intel I7-12800G had better battery in the Latitude 5440 (about 5 to 6 hours).

Unfortunately you can't compare orange with apple. Your machine only has 3 cell, 56 Whr (part # N70706-005) battery. Too small for a 17" machine. The screen itself may consume 30% to 50% of battery power.

Regards.

Now for the fact about the screen, the issue is on 1200 unit of the 640 G11, which have a 14" screen. The 640 G11 has up to 16 hours of advertised life. I know this value is "up to" and depend on a lot, but 14 houres less is a lot.

In comparison, I have a Latitude 5440 doing 4h30 to 5h00 of battery life and an EliteBook 830 G5 doing 6h00, and a Latitude 7420 doing 9h00. I understand the difference in spec, while the 5440 is very close to my ultra 7 165h with it's 14700Hx
