HP 807611-421 & HP807956-001 Laptop Batteries

The current HP807611-421 battery in my 15-ay039wm notebook needs to be replaced. On the battery label it says to replace it with HP807956-001. The original battery's voltage is 10.95 volts. The replacement battery's voltage is 14.8 volts. Will the replacement battery cause damage due to the higher voltage output? I can no longer find the original battery part number only the replacement part number. Thanks for the help.
