Hi

After a mainboard replacing the left two ports of the notebook are not working. AMT is activated, DMI`s correct, BIOS is the newest, UEFI set to default, activated USB ports in BIOS. What I`m wondering, the charging funktion of this ports are working, but I cannot start from my diagnosis USB stick nor the windows 7 recognizes this device.(tested with different USBdev.)

what could I have forgotten?

THX for help.

Go to Device Manager, (Start, run, type mmc devmgmt.msc)

Find the category for Universal Serial Bus controllers and expand it.

Right click on each USB Hub and choose to uninstall.

You would either reboot or tell your computer to scan for new hardware to get them back.

8460p主板上有一个 USB 3.0 芯片板, 主板更换时, 需要把旧主板上的 USB 3.0 芯片板拆下来, 装到新主板上.

What our Japanese friend tries to say is that, when you replace the systemboard, you have

to build over the little print.

Most likely the little print is still on the original (defect ?) board.
