I have an old HP Elitebook 8470p with the AMD graphics GPU. I believe the motherboard has died. (Randomly powers off even though temperatures are good, will not charge any of the 3 batteries I have, I have tried 3 different chargers).
I am trying to find the replacement part number. Any ideas?

HP 8470p is a series of many different models/products. Please use page 107 of the Maintenance and Service Guide on the following link to find out which one you need.

Machine is too old, I don't think HP Store stocks old parts. You can use part # and search online including eBay.
Regards.

Thanks. Using the PDF, I was able to confirm that the 686041-001 is the motherboard I need. I appreciate it.
I will attempt to repair with a new motherboard. If not, well, who knows. I have no idea what else it could be besides the motherboard. I have 3 chargers, 3 batteries, and a docking station. Laptop boots with chargers, but not on battery. Laptop sees the charge on the battery, but is not able to use it or charge it. About a month prior, WiFi stopped working and I had to go to cable. Then this nonsense with the power and then 2 weeks after this started, the laptop started simply turning off. Sort of like a thermal event turnoff, but all my temperature monitoring showed the temperature was fine.
