Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi, I have a HP Laptop 15-da1096la with a HP 8532 Motherboard.

I tried to look up this product info but wasn't able to find it, so, could you tell me what is the maximum RAM memory that this board/laptop can accept?

HP Recommended

HP will probably say 16GB, but Windows users can determine the maximum RAM capacity in the Command prompt (Run as Administer) with the command here- wmic memphysical get MaxCapacity and divide the value by 1024

 

That will definately tell you how much RAM you can install. Be warned that HP laptops don't like performance RAM, a vanilla offering from Crucial, Samsung or SK Hynix is generally recommended.
