Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi, how are you? I would like to know if there is any modified BIOS or any file to whitelist the following graphics (Quadro M2200M and T1000). I do not understand why they are not compatible if it is basically the same physically as a K2200 and I do not see the need to change PCs, I have tried those same graphics cards even with the one that included the 8570W in another laptop (Dell) MXM 3.0a and everything it works normally. Do you need to make any changes to the software or hardware for it to work? And what would it be? That pc has an excellent processor and a lot of ram so it is not an option to change equipment. . . I hope some solution

I've seen that it can be made to work with a modified .inf file but it didn't reach those levels of knowledge.

@RenardHCRc,

Welcome to our HP User Forum!

Completely understand your frustration, and I looked into it. Couldn't find any Users having fitted either a Quadro M2200M or a T1000 on an HP EliteBook 8570w Mobile Workstation here: UserBenchmark: HP EliteBook 8570w Compatible Components.

What I did find is that there is one compatible graphics alternative which may be of interest to you: the Nvidia Quadro M4000M 4GB GDDR5 as seen here: HP EliteBook 8570w Performance Results - UserBenchmark.  Interestingly, this particular 8570W had an older BIOS version (20150407), even though as you know there is a newer BIOS version (20190419) available.

Perhaps the only relevant piece of information that may be useful to you was this comment I found, quote: "If the MXM card driver conflict with some device driver in laptop, the operate system maybe need re-install."

Hope this was helpful.

Kind Regards,

the only thing I don't understand is how he did it since the Quadro M4000M is MXM 3.0b it must be that I modified the chassis
