I bought an HP Active Stylus (T5E12AA)  (839082-001) recently and tried to connect to my HP elite X2 G4 tablet running windows 11. I tried to install the drivers from HP drivers page but it seems like windows overrides that to use their own driver. The problem is I can get the pen to connect via Bluetooth and I can change the settings on the HP pen  settings app. But the Bluetooth connection keeps getting disconnected. When I press the top button, it connects and then immediately disconnects. I'm not able to use the pen at all as the connection drops.

 

 

 

Is the pen even compatible with the X2 G4? Can anyone please let me know? I know the active pen G3 is compatible but it's quite expensive. If that's my only option I will buy it but I want to make sure that the problem is with compatibility and not the actual product.
