@Iced , welcome to the forum.
What is the Product Number of the computer? I need this information to review the specifications of it. Please don't furnish the Serial # or other personal information. You can find the Product Number at the bottom of the page when you open HP Support Assistant. Also, what is the version of the BIOS/UEFI update?

Thank you for the additional information, @Iced!
Here is the only BIOS/UEFI update that is available for your motherboard: https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/selfservice/swdetails/hp-pavilion-14-ce3000-laptop-pc-series/29...
If your computer is running good at this point, I don't believe that you should have any problems. This was a minor update.
You can check the BIOS/UEFI version by right clicking on Start (Win Key lower left corner) and selecting "Run". In the box type or copy msinfo32 and select OK. The System Summary will be displayed. Find the "BIOS Version/Date" entry.
Please click the Thumbs up + button if I have helped you and click Accept as Solution if your problem is solved.
