HP Envy x360 2 in 1

I didn't know what the HP Bios update was it just popped up on my screen when I was restarting my computer. Since it took me a while to react, it automatically updated without me clicking it. I am worried that this update can affect my computer because today while using my computer it turned off when I was using it. which i thought was weird since it hasn't happened before. I have seen several comments about this update messing their computer. I don't have insurance so if someone can PLEASE answer ASAP and tell what they know and how i can uninstall this update if it will affect my computer??!? It's also making a weird noise . Not sure what operating system 😞

@JenniMagana Welcome to HP Community!

What is the product number of your computer? (Ensure you don't share any personal information such as serial, phone number, email ID, etc..).

Updating the BIOS will not affect your computer.
