I wrote a Tribal Knowledge Base article in 2018 that may help you to make an educated decision on what steps need to be taken. I certainly do not recommend replacing a battery just because the UEFI hardware diagnostics tests  say it is bad, unless there was an error code produced. Is there an error code that you can provide?

In the article, I described how to use the Windows command line to get the actual condition of the notebook's battery.

Use the command line information I provided to generate a report on the battery. Post the text of the report here in your thread. We can move forward from there to see how things really stand with your battery and notebook's charging system. There are times when the battery tests don't give the full picture.
