Hey i am just trying to find out if the Chromebooks I bought my kids can have the RAM or memory upgraded. I got them the HP Chromebook Model 11-v010nr. They are using it more and more for school from when we got it and it is starting to slow down and running out of space. I just want to add memory and ram to make it faster and hold more. Other wise I will have to buy them new ones and that is going to cost as I would have to buy two of them.

Unfortunately, the answer is no.
The RAM and Hard disk are both comprised of eMMC memory that is integrated(soldered) onto the notebook's system board. The eMMC memory is not upgradeable.
The one thing that you can do is to purchase an appropriately high capacity high speed microSD card to plug into the Chromebook.
After that is done you can transfer documents into the microSD card, which will then be your best source of storage space. It will not speed up the Chromebook. Chromebooks will always be limited and slow.
I suggest using a 128 or 256 GB Sandisk Extreme microSD card.
