Need some advice here,
Sent in HP Chromebook for repair under the warranty. It took about 2 weeks, no big deal. There were a LOT of issues with it. They fixed EVERYTHING except the touchscreen on the Chromebook is still not working. Has anyone else had this issue? Looking for some advice if I should send it back in or what to do instead. Thank you.

Thank you for posting on the HP Support Community.
Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, I have a few troubleshooting steps we could try to fix the issue:
Firstly, let's try resetting the Chromebook to factory settings following the steps recommended below.
- Sign out of your Chromebook.
- Press and hold Ctrl + Alt + Shift + r.
- Click Restart.
- In the box that appears, click Reset and sign in with your Google Account.
- Note: The account you sign in with after you reset your Chromebook will be the owner account.
- Follow the steps that appear.
- Once you've reset your Chromebook:
- Set up your Chromebook again
- Check if the problem is fixed
Lastly, try performing a recovery on the Chromebook.

You're a lifesaver!
All I had to do was go into the actual "recovery mode", but I didn't have to insert the flash drive like it asked or anything like that. All I did was simply go into recovery mode and then shut off my computer and turned it back on to get out of it. After that, it worked! Thank you so much!

Update:
After some time, it stopped working again; it's inconsistent. It seems to work for about five minutes after I boot it up and then it stops working again. I keep having to do a hardware reset and/or go into that recovery mode. Any suggestions on how to make it stay? It seems that this is a software issue as when it does work, it works great.
