HP Compaq 6200 Pro SFF

Hi,

I need to upgrade my pc HP Compaq Pro SFF) a lot and I might change the motherboard. I have the aim to get 32gb ddr4 3200mhz ram, change the motherboard, change the CPU,  get dedicated graphics  with the same case if possible so it can run games and change the 1tb HDD to a 1tb M.2 NVMe SSD. Please help me.

Thanks

See the thread at the hyperlink below for the memory specification

Solved: HP Compaq 6200 Pro Small Form Factor PC Memory Upgrade - HP Support Community - 7902311

You can upgrade the  1tb HDD legacy hard disk to a 2.5"(7mm) 3D NAND SATA SSD.

There is no support for an M..2 SSD on the motherboard

Hi, I also need to upgrade my pc (HP Compaq 6200 Pro SFF) a lot and I might change the motherboard. I have the aim to get 32gb ddr4 3200mhz ram, change the motherboard, change the CPU,  get dedicated graphics  with the same case if possible so it can run games. Could we get M.2 SSD if i changed to a motherboard that fits in the case. Please tell me what i could do for better ram - i already 8gb ddr3. Therefore i need a better motherboard.

Thanks

Read the thread at the link for memory upgrade.

There is no system board upgrade that would fit in the SFF format desktop PC that will allow the use of modern M.2 SDSD products.

If you want to upgrade to something closer to current technology, I recommend sourcing a replacement PC that is more modern and definitely not an Enterprise SFF desktop PC.

SFF format is close to the ultimate limitation simply because of the small size and proprietary format.

Thanks for helping. I have one last question: If i upgrade the ddr3 8gb ram to 16gb ram and the intel hd graphics to a nvidia geforce gtx 1050ti, do i have to also change the psu because i want to have this as a budget upgrade.

once again thanks

A nvidia geforce gtx 1050ti draws 75W and requires 300W system power.
It is unlikely to be a viable upgrade for a SFF  PC.

The  HP Pro 6200 SFF has a legacy BIOS.

One last thing, what type of HDD does the HP Compaq 6200 Pro SFF support?

HP Recommended

Could a GT 730 affect the psu I have to use? And would at gt 1030?

You asked that before and I already answered.
